Essentials and Distinctives (Part 3)
Our question in this study of essentials, you may remember, is this: What is a Christian? Last time we saw how the Bible answers that question by teaching that a Christian is someone who has been regenerated, born of God's Spirit. Another essential of being a Christian is trusting in Jesus Christ for salvation. [READ MORE]

Founders Study Guide Commentary: GalatiansBy Curtis Vaughan"Dr. Vaughan's commentary on Galatians is a model of careful, respectful handling of the text. He packs a lot in a short space, surveying opinions and moving to the heart of the text. The including of references, at the end of sections, to particularly helpful sermons on the specific text by Spurgeon and Maclaren is a great feature of this work. This will be a helpful resource for pastors and bible study leaders."

Ministry Projects
Below is an email from a ministry to Nigeria requesting resources. We receive requests like these frequently and it is our desire to help as we are able. Please read this email and pray for this ministry. If you would like to give toward one of these special projects (or ones like it), please designate your gift for "overseas ministry projects." Click here for information on how to give to Founders Ministries.Dear Dr Ascol,
I am writing to thank you for your book Dear Timothy. This was shown and sold to me recently by Dr. Joel Beeke. I am delighted with it, not only for the benefit of my own soul, but because of my interest in providing it for my students in Nigeria.
I am a missionary from Northern Ireland, where I served for 9 years as a minister of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and now lecturing in Nigeria at the Theological College of Northern Nigeria. I love the reformed and puritan tradition as you evidently do.
My particular interest in Dear Timothy is due to my work with Africa Christian Textbooks (popularly known as ACTS) - a literature ministry directed to theological students. We have a branch of ACTS at the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomosho. The story of how the Lord opened the door there will have to wait for another time. But we have a golden opportunity now to make sure that sound evangelical and reformed literature is available at the heart of the leading seminary of the Nigerian Bapist Convention, one of Nigeria's largest denominations with more than 4,000 congregations.
If you can help us by donating some books, we'd commit to distributing them free of charge to more than 350 Bible Colleges, seminaries, schools of mission and other training programmes on our mailing list.Yours by grace alone,
Rev. Dr. Sid Garland
Executive Director, Africa Christian Textbooks
