This spring the Founders Study Center will be offering the 10-week course, Maintaining Your Spiritual Health with Dr. Don Whitney, free for those who sign up to audit the course. If you missed our free course in the fall (or even if you didn't!) here is another opportunity to audit one of our courses at no cost! Free course registration will continue until March 31, 2009. The Free Course Portal will open for Spring 2009 Orientation on March 3, 2009.

This course introduces the work of pastoral ministry by looking at its biblical foundations, theological concerns and practical responsibilities. Dr. Tom Ascol is the Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, Florida and serves as the Executive Director of Founders Ministries.All course lectures are posted in two formats: video and audio with PowerPoint slides.
This course meets for 16 sessions. The course began February 2, 2009. Students will have access to course material online until June 19, 2009 (20 weeks to complete the course). Calvin and the Reformed Tradition with audio lectures by Dr. Timothy George
The Reformation of the sixteenth century was a tremendous movement of ecclesial and spiritual renewal within the wider Christian tradition. The Protestant Reformation was the wellspring of both the evangelical awakening and the modern missionary movement. The purpose of this course is to examine the central theological concerns of the Reformation as they were embodied in the life and work of John Calvin. Dr. Timothy George is the founding Dean and Professor of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Alabama.
