Purpose The purpose of this forum is to help churches looking for Founders-friendly ministers and to help Founders-friendly ministers looking for interested churches. All posts to the list will be screened to make sure they conform to this purpose. To use this list, you must be in substantial agreement with the views and aims of Founders Ministries. Posting You should include all the content in the body of your post rather than in an attachment. We recommend that search committees consider using a tool such as Questions for a Prospective Pastor by Jim Elliff and Don Whitney as you consider candidates. Using Minister-search
Once you are subscribed, you should post a message to the forum. This message should contain a description of the position you're seeking to fill or the position you're seeking, as well as supporting information. This will make the information available to other subscribers of the forum but not to the general public. To post a message to all the list members, send email to minister-search@founders.org. If you find a church or a minister through this forum, we ask that you notify us so we can update our records as well as gauge the effectiveness of this service. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Minister-search
Subscribing to Minister-search involves two steps: 1. Send an email to the moderator at minister-search-moderator@founders.org with a short explanation of your purpose for using the service and your affirmation of substantial agreement with the aims and views of Founders Ministries. 2. Fill out the following form. (Please be sure to do #1 first.) This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
