While each of these seasons has peculiar features related to their contexts, they all bring the same temptations to deny Christ and compromise His word. And the solution Christians need in such times is always the same. As the Apostle Paul puts it, “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm” (Ephesians 6:13). Remembering Christ, and being clothed in Him, is what enables Christians confidently to remain “steadfast and immovable.”
