I am thrilled to announce that when Founders Seminary opens its doors August 11, 2025, students will be welcomed by President Voddie Baucham. Dr. Baucham is no stranger to most who read this article. He is a best-selling author, successful church planter, former Dean of African Christian University, and founding faculty member of the Institute of Public Theology. He preached the gospel and taught God’s Word around the world.
Now, Voddie has taken up the role of the Founding President of Founders Seminary. He, Bridget, and seven of their nine children left Zambia last year and are getting settled in Cape Coral, Florida where the new seminary is located. Founders Seminary is committed to help train elder-qualified men to have sharp minds, warm hearts, and steel spines. Dr. Baucham, together with a growing faculty of men who not only have firm convictions but also have blood mixed with those convictions, embodies that vision of gospel ministry.
Pray for President Baucham, the staff, and faculty as they embark on this new venture of establishing a confessionally faithful seminary that, under the blessing of God, will assist churches in equipping faithful pastors for generations to come.
