Gratitude for all God’s goodness,
Perfect, Just, and righteous He.
Every creature lifts its glory,
Lions and trees and roaring sea.
All that is He has created;
Nothing stands without His will.
Voices lifted, hearts enchanted,
Though we fall, He lifts us still.
For the wisdom of creation,
Creatures their Creator bless.
Might and beauty, light and darkness,
Should with thanks our hearts impress.
But for beauty in redemption–
Humbled Son took on our flesh—
Praise while here should be exhaustless,
Thanks in heaven ever fresh.
