In this episode of The Sword and The Trowel, Tom and Jared talk about the Statement on Social Justice and the Gospel, Pilgrim’s Progress, and the first of the Ten Commandments.

Awesome, will this be available on iTunes soon?
Will you please make these available on iTunes?
Please make this available on iTunes so I can add it to my PocketCasts.
Can I get this on my android?
To those asking about finding the podcast on itunes or by other means, I think I know what’s happening. (I just suffered the same problem and found a resolution, albeit imperfect.)
I suspect the problem is that you folks (above) are understandably searching those services for a podcast with the name “the sword and the trowel”. But you won’t find these that way.
The problem (if I may call it that) is that whoever set things up here chose instead to put these episodes in the “interviews” section of this site, which you may notice now if you look at the URL for this page, https://founders.org/interviews/the-sword-and-the-trowel-episode-1/.
And as such, the RSS feed instead has the name “Interviews – Founders Ministries”. If you search for that, instead, you should find it. (I don’t have an apple device to search apple podcasts, but I confirmed that this worked in my android podcast app, beyondpod, as well as in a couple of different podcast search features, such as the site https://shortorange.com.)
Or you can just add this URL in your podcast app:
That said, it’s worth noting that you will get MORE than just the “sword and trowel” episodes. You will get all episodes in this “interviews” section of the site here. Beyond the most recent S&T episodes, there are are other “interviews” in time before them, and there may well be others in the future which would appear in your feed (which isn’t a bad thing but may be unexpected by some).
The folks behind the site and podcast may want to consider creating a podcast feed that has the unique name of “the sword and the trowel” (and which then has its own unique RSS feed URL) for those who may want to really focus on that. It will also make it easier for folks to find (and perhaps as important, share) the podcast.
I suspect few folks finding it going forward will come back and find this first podcast’s comments. So I will look now at the other episodes appearing as a I write (up to episode 8), and if I find anyone else asking the same question I will point them to this comment, if it may help.
Hopefully, if anyone else (within or outside Founders) has comments or corrections on what I’ve shared here, they would offer it here for any to see.
